Poland- 5/03

Just like the New York photos, these six images couldn't begin to do this magnificent country justice. I in Krakow for a few days, took a day trip to Auschwitz/Birkenau , and had a chance to browse what is known as the most beautiful city in Poland before I left. Unfortunately, I didn't have nearly as much time as I'd hoped, and as a result this is what I have- nevertheless, I hope you enjoy them...

Sunset from the ferry terminal, as I was preparing to leave Swinoujscie, and catch the boat to Copenhagen on the way back to Århus after my trip to Greece and beyond.
Rynek Glowny, the central square in the city of Krakow, one of the largest in Poland. I was there for three days, and almost completely out of film, so unfortunately I only have one or two photos.
I was staying at a youth hostel in the city, waiting for a friend I'd met on the train, and was sitting in the lobby fiddling with my camera. This group of kids came up to me, and in extremely broken English asked my to take their picture... I said OK.
As we were about to sail on the Pomerania for Copenhagen, I saw this beautiful silhouette.
A ferry that crosses the river at Swinoujscie every few minutes, a journey of less than 500 feet, I believe.
Yet another sunset...
