Other Travels-2003 & 2004, Part I
Part II

So many places, so few photos... This is my album of random images, a place to drop all the photos I liked that didn't match up to any of the other places I had separate albums for. It's a wide variety for sure, everything from Austria to Oregon, Macedonia to the Champs Elysées, and more... Enjoy.

The bright green countryside of Austria, as I was traveling overnight from Belgrade to Vienna.
One of the many stations on the 12-hour train ride between the two cities.
Sunset in the Balkans, somewhere in Serbia & Montengro (Formerly Yugoslavia) near Belgrade. When I took this, I was on the train from Thessaloniki, Greece to Belgrade.
A pretty big jump here, from the Balkans to the Champs Elysées. I was in Paris, but only was able to use a friends camera at the time, so I couldn't take as many photos as I would've liked. Another time, perhaps. This is from atop the Arc de Triomphe, by the way.
I flew back from Europe through Portland, Oregon, and as I drove down to my parent's place in northern California, I insisted that we stop in Denmark, Oregon, which was literally just a spot on the map. I wrote a short message in Danish on the signpost (as others had too).
Welcome to Denmark... Oregon.
The Jardin du Luxembourg (Luxembourg Gardens) in the center of Paris.
La Défense, the modern commercial center of Paris. Similarly to London, it seems that all the really modern architecture has been exiled to the edge of the city, I suppose to keep the historic character.
A really strange evening light, as I was flying on Finnair, from Ivalo, the country's northernmost airport, to Helsinki, the capital. This was taken over what is known as the lake country, where there are more than 10,000 individual lakes.
Looking out at the countryside of Macedonia, on the train between Thessaloniki and Belgrade.
Near the village of Kumanovo, Macedonia.
In Europe, products are marketed throughout the entire continent, which means that you find packages like this, a bag of corn flakes sitting on my table one morning.
