Photo Gallery #57- A Feast, Darda-Style, Part I
As
I mentioned, I was at PST in time to catch both the official
Embassy
Thanksgiving celebration, and the party put on by the Trainees

Green
exterior aside, it's still a pumpkin.

Which
Kimberly was in charge of turning into pie. |

Meanwhile
Meghan was on veggie duty, soaking everything in bleach
water first, to kill the germs. |

has ever been used to make guacamole.

preparing chips- there's no shaving cream in them, it's

Chewy

One of the big hits was stuffing, headed up by Steve, Becky,
and Kristen, with a little help peeling garlic on my part.
Step one, a dozen stale N'Djamena baguettes, torn into pieces. |
|
|
Step
two- Many, many onions. |
| Step
three- Even more garlic. |
|
|
Step
four- More onions. |
| Kristen,
trying to look as forlorn as possible. |
|
|
Step
five- light the ganoum. The onions and garlic had
to be sautéed somehow... |
| |
|
|
Step
six- Stir with oil. Steve's dad is a professional chef,
apparently, so he was put in charge. |
