Photo Gallery #56- Formateur (& trice) Fun...
The
Trainees were fortunate to have several of the same formateurs
(trainers) as we did last year, as well as a few new faces.

Ben-Djo,
who has been a trainer for all three of the groups of
PCV's in Chad so far, having fun with Beatitude.

You
can almost see the wheels spinning...
Beatitude: "What the hell?" |
|
|
Ben-Djo
doesn't seem to be having any better luck with the singing
Santa snowman. |
| Ça
va? |

Bonding. |
| Grâce,
the only formatrice, caught off guard. She doesn't
usually wear the cardboard pilgrim hat... |

Looking
slightly more put together, but wait, wrong baby... |
| There
we go. |

Moussa
and Grace. |
Didier,
one of the new formateurs. Although the language
trainers were banned from speaking 'en anglais'
during
stage, Didier speaks near-perfect English,
which took me by surprise.
|
|
|
Kadadi,
also a trainer from last year. He's now working as the
Censeur (Vice-Principal) at a private middle
school in N'Djamena.
|
| Valery,
the youngest of the formateurs, and the best
English-speaker of the group. Not to blow my own horn
too much, but I was friends with him before, and I suggested
that he might want to apply for the language trainer job
with Peace Corps. I guess it worked, and led to something
bigger- he's just left for the US on a two-year Fulbright
scholarship. |

Moussa,
the poster child for Chadian dentistry.

into the spirit. |

| It's
an improvement, but hey, look where we started. |

The
même chose club returns, starring Grâce,
Moussa, and me. |
| Noelle,
the Training Director, who seems permanently cool, calm,
and collected. |
