Photo Gallery #49- Micah's
Birthday, & 'Pizza Hut,' Part I
A
few weeks after returning to Gaya, Micah had his second birthday,
a major event. Having the Szobody's here has given me the
opportunity
to enjoy things I never anticipated being able to do during
my PCV
career, like DVD's, late-night chats (in English), and pizza...

It
took a little while for Micah to figure out the whole
candle thing, which Paul eventually helped him out with. |
A
small gift from me, in genuine Chadian gift wrap (aka
a plastic bag from the market). |

Nothing
much, a pack of stickers, a small box of colored pencils,
and a bag of strawberry-flavored powdered milk.... |

Mercy gave him a set of rubber duckies, perfect for the
bath... |

A
small present from Mom, a bottle of Coca-Cola, a rare treat,
and obviously a favorite. |
| A
mirror too. |

And
the biggest gift, from Samuel the menusier, a homemade
tricycle. |
