heat and the humidity in southwestern Chad can produce incredibly

This
ended up being a massive storm that arrived just before
sunset- the clouds started rolling in before the sun
had actually gone down though, making a cool eclipse-like
effect.

The
storms would often gather in the east, gradually making
their way towards us...
|
|
| |
Growing
larger, |
And
more ominous. |
|
| |
This
one actually missed us in the end, veering off just before
the wind was about to pick up. |

Sunset,
as the storm dissipated. |
| One
of the biggest rains we had began on a calm day... |
|
|
Gradually,
the clouds increased. |
| The
sky darkened. |
|
|
Before
long, the sun was completely gone. |
| And
at 2:00 PM, it looked like evening... |
|
|
Just
moments before the deluge began. |
| Later
that night, after a massive rain, it dissispated enough
to see the full moon, barely. |
