Photo Gallery #37-June IST at Dougia
Just
after the end of the school year my group assembled at Dougia
for
our second, more technically-focused In-Service Training.
We were
busy, of course, but like last time managed to enjoy ourselves
as well.

Chad,
making every effort to look like the concerned PCMO
he is.
|
At
the same time we came into town, Matt was on his way out,
flying back to the US on vacation the same night. He joked
about wearing his turban/bubu on the plane into
the States, to see what sort of reaction he'd get. |

It's
taken almost two years, but he's got the blank-eyed, slack-jawed
Chadian photo stare down to an art. |
Darren,
who's ready to go to Dougia. Nobody else wanted to sit
in the front with him though.

Because
we had an extra passenger, a peacock Adji was selling
at Dougia. |
Darren
eventually moved into the back with Aaron and Monica,
when the bird got a little wild. |

Josh,
Greger, and Kate. |
Brownie
came back from her home in Benin to help us with this
IST as well. |
|
|
Judith
and Nelson also took the chance to come up to the lodge
to swim and relax, along with their kids. |

Avery. |
| Zayk,
working on his George W Bush smirk impression. |
|
|
I've
rarely seen three siblings play together as well as Nelson
& Judith's kids. |
| Ben
let Max and Avery take a few photos with his digital camera,
which the boys were eager to see. |

Enjoying
quality time with Zayk. |
| Max,
whose popcorn cup turned into a hat as soon as he was finished. |

Trying
to take a photo of myself at arm's length, with limited
success. |
