Photo Gallery #34- Stormy Weather
The
heat couldn't go on forever, and one day in early April, the
rains finally arrived. Having grown up in Florida, I've seen
my
share of thunderstorms, but an African rainstorm is truly
a site to behold.

The
first clouds begin to gather, already looking ominous.

Next,
the wind begins to pick up- unfortunately the storm was
so intense that I wasn't able to get photos in the middle
of it, only the aftermath. |
I'd
forgotten to move my bed inside, and my mattress was
completely ruined.

first view, after the storm died down, and Amos helped
me open my door, which had been blocked by fallen pieces
of wood. |
